Around the Table:
An Investigation of Collaborative Design and Making
Around the Table facilitates opportunities for people to experience the work of the hand and to develop unforeseen connections to material, environment and community. Through a process of collaboration and the sharing of experiences, we designed and constructed four heirloom dining room tables.
This project embraces an apprenticeship style of learning, which endeavors not only to teach skills, but also to create aware, self-reliant and passionate craftsmen.

Boatbuilding and Community Projects

Over the years, I have engaged in projects that involve a social, collaborative element.

From historic sailing vessel restoration, to public furniture projects, this work involves the coming together of many minds and hands to execute large scale endeavors.
